Into Thin Air
Another description of a scientific process; the historical satelite launch that put us directly in touch with China. I remember driving the Ring of Kerry in Ireland and being at Valencia Harbor where the ship, The Great Eastern laid the TrasAtlantic cable clear under the ocean to the American continent. Seems like an impossible thing to do even now.

The Cycle of Fossil Fuel on a Postage Stamp
My last post was computer generated. This one is a completely hand drawn watercolor. In order to get all the detail necessary I worked on the full width of a watercolor sheet. This was a museum quality "first day cover" collectors item celebrating the issue of a new postage stamp. The actual stamp would have been tipped in—the one I've included is a facsimile since I never received the official document.

Looks like a Game—and is a Game Plan!
Business strategy is way too complex a subject to discuss without a map. Carefully constructed strategy maps organize ideas and content into a timeline and begin with a mission statement and general history—we are here! Illustrated goals, progress, problems to overcome, competition, management style and action levels are key communication tools necessary to keep everyone at every level on the same page. They offer focus for meeting and discussions. They serve to inspire and encourage workers to share ideas, to be their best and to go above and beyond.
